One of my latest shots, taken with a Contax 50/1.9. I've put a lot of effort in color grading, since I've taken the same photo a year ago and it was too saturated matching my tastes back then. What do you think of the new image?

The uncompressed new one is here: http://500px.com/photo/60606048

The old picture has colors that are too saturated.  But the color temperature looks more neutral in my opinion.  The new picture has slightly dull saturation, and a color temperature that is too warm.  However, if you wanted to depict the warmish color because that's the natural color of the light source, then that is a valid way of producing the image, in my opinion.  However, the result is color that has less vitality, in my opinion.  If that is how the color looked to your eyes, and that is what you wanted, then you did a good job of getting it.  Personally I would go for something midway between the two images...a slightly less warm color temperature and slightly more color saturation...but only just a bit on both counts.

We were hit pretty hard here in the South with the most snow I've seen since we moved down here. Shut everything down. It was very beautiful, though.

Nice job!  We had a 10 inch snow here this past week.  I will eventually post some images.

Thanks for your comment! The color you see in the second image are the ones I wanted in post production. Here is another one with the particular look I wanted (I know the colors look weird, but that's how I like them as of now) :)

Post-processed using CS6, the narrow dynamic range is bothering me with noise appearing. =/ Low quality due to download from Facebook.

No problem, I had a feeling that's how you wanted it.  This one with the bridge...well the sky grad filter is just way overdone...looks like a still of video footage where they were using an on-camera grad filter, then suddenly panned up and the filter was no longer along the horizon.  Just my opinion though, mind you.  It's not a terrible image...

Ok I don't know what happened to the cat thread (I did search for it!!), so I'll post this here for now since that's what I shot it with.

It is difficult to shoot a fast moving boat while being on a boat
f/7.1, ISO 100, 1/400 @105 (IS)
New Castle (Tyne)

EDIT: actually, this is my first and only shot at this boat. Anyway, I was with my family and they do not allow me to stay too long for multiple shots. So, most of my shots are f-t-r (or not  ;) )
