Great images in this series, Jason.  Very nice work!

Thanks!  It's a pleasure coming from you.  I'm going again to another vacation by end of July in Perhentian, Malaysia.  Hopefully I can take better pictures there.  Any criticisms are very much welcome.  Thanks again.

Hello everyone. This is my first post after lurking for about a year. Finally upgraded from a 400D. So far I a totally pleased, especially the high ISO performance.

Still a newbie, so any constructive critic or suggestions are welcome.

The picture of the flowers is at ISO 8000.

Love the daffodil shot.

My advice for attaching images on CR: reduce to 740 pixels across and don't bother with the copyright. 740 px loads much faster, fills the page space, and no one's going to make anything out of your image anyway.

Hallo Sporgon,

thanks for the reply. I like the daffodils as well. We were on vacation on in a small town and the main street was lined with daffodils. At night they were illuminated from below with LED spotlights. The ISO of the picture in my previous post is so high because it was windy that night.

The first image below is just to show the conditions and the second one is another shot I like.

I changed the image sizes and removed the copyright. I See that many others add them though. With an image size of 740x493, there really isn't much info to steal.

I stripped the metadata from the files, because I can't figure how to export from LR5 without my camera's serial number. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon.
All the pictures so far were with a 24-105L on the 6D. The ISO of the picture with the 3 daffodils is 200.

6D and 100-400L. After trying it for a pair of weeks I have to admit it's a nice combo. The 6D handles it perfectly
