Has anyone else had any problems with their 400 series cf cards??
Having problems with yours?
Wish the prices of these two UDMA 7 cards remained the same. 64GB's below $100 and 128GB's below $237 today.
I would've gone with two 128GB Lexar 400x UDMA 7 cards at below $170/card.
With a 128GB UDMA7 card you can have these many RAWs & L JPEGs. These figures were based on what was written in each body's manual.
L JPEGs
1D X & C - 19,200
1D4 - 22,144
5D3 - 16,160
5D2 - 19,840
7D - 18,976
RAW
1D X & C - 4,480
1D4 - 5,600
5D3 - 4,160
5D2 - 4,608
7D - 4,960
Divide the figures by half if you decide on the 64GB UDMA7 card.
Note that 400x UDMA7 cards are not fast enough for the 1D C 4K recording. For that purpose you need a UDMA7 card that can write at 100MB/s or better like any 1000x UDMA 7 card or Sandisk's 100MB/s UDMA7 card.
