The C100 doesn't shoot 4K video, The 1D C does.  That's really the selling point of the 1D C.  4K may not be big yet, but it's coming for sure.

When will 4K be that usable?  With most end users streaming content, will 4k ever be the de facto format?

Independent cinema? Or possible crash cams or C-cams on big budget productions. I can see these being useful.
