It's just not cricket

Apologies for the focus but there simply wasn't time to wait for correct focus while this was going on...

... if you don't follow cricket, this photo is meaningless to you.

I assume this is a "streaker moment" where a regular Joe runs on to the pitch and bowled a ball before security could get to him?

Yep, meaningless...
A few drills, screws, saws, hammers, & nails... it's what I build thats important, not the brands of tools or how many I own.

Ah man, I remember back in the days of AB and Boony and Gatting and all the classics, when channel 9 would actually follow the streakers around with the camera and Bill&Tony would be laughing at them and cracking jokes...
Until a few years later when it got all business-like and they went to an ad-break to discourage streakers, took all the fun out of the game.
Too much gear, too little space.

Cricket? Is that when they play for 36 hours and then suddenly somebody picks up the ball and throws it over the sideline and someone wins?

Noooo, learn the rules, mate.

you play for 5 days and then it rains/goes dark early and it's declared a draw.

BTW, earlier they played for three days and then rested for a day and then went for another 2 days (or sometimes they would play two days and rest one and then go for the three days). So 6 elapsed days and at the end of it may be no team would win! It, Test Cricket (not these slam-bam-thank-you-advertiser games of today!) was a game that tried your skill, grit, patience, daring and your emotional quotient! I loved it before making money was the motive of sport!
