We took a trip to Disneyland last year.  I was shooting the 7d at the time and took the 24-70 and 10-22.  I mainly used the L when we were around water.  By far, most of my favorites were with the wide lens and most were at either 10mm or 22mm.  The 50 prime and an ultrawide would have been great as I wanted more than f/2.8 offered.  I think a small flash would have been a good idea too.  My favorite piece of gear was a Black Rapid strap.  In my opinion, the best thing you can own for carrying a big camera and shepherding children.

- That is so cool - I wouldnt have thought wide would be important at all.  But the proof is in the pudding you know.  You shot those and loved em.

I would put a UV/clear filters on the lenses you bring.
- I would love some recommendations in this department.

dessicant packs, as you will be going in and out of A/C and heat and lots of humidity
- Genius.  I didnt even think about the A/C.  I'll bet that is actually a pretty big deal too.  From 95 to 70 and back again.  I'm also guessing lenses fog?  I hadnt thought about that either ... but I should have.

Some great stuff and thanks for the pic links too!

EDIT:
Check out my Flickr page if you'd like to see some shots taken during my trip to Disney World.

Holy Toledo!  Those are the shots I want when I go!

Ok folks ... new question.  Should I buy a FF before I go if I want these or is it all about the glass and the talent?

FF can't match the 10-22, so keep your current stuff and add that. Many of those great flickr pictures are with the UWA.

You should definately get a waterproof P&S and bring it along! I did, and gave it to my wife or my son depending on the attraction. They got some shots I never did, and I had a backup camera if mine would fail (30D with 17-50 lens). Also, they take almost no space in your bag.

That way, your spouse can take pics of you from the side, and you can take pics while in the ride, and not worry about your DSLR.

I have had good experiences with Olympus offerings in Waterproof P&S.

All in all, it was a great day, and to be able to choose from two cameras pics was luxury when I came home.

Disney Shot these with my 7D March 2012 used the 10-22 as a walk-around in the parks as well.
Rent a 10-22 if you don't have one, Bring your 24-105 and a good tripod and cable remote that is it.
