He is referring to the post about a 24 inch panel. Nothing to do with the original topic on a 30 inch monitor.
Thanks Mt Spokane Photography. Yes, the 24 inch is an off brand monitor but the panel is good. I think that the panels are all tested with the best performing ones going to top tier brands (with the high prices). Then the good enough get put into these off brand cases. There are a bunch that get sold on eBay through Korea, but a good one that I have is this 27" panel for $399.http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_IPS_LED_Monitor
The stand sucks so I just repurposed a rotating stand from a 20" HP panel. The attachment screws are VESA compliant.
When the screen is black, I get a fair amount of light bleed from the corners. Do not notice this when actually viewing the desktop or using the panel in a normal manner.
It is hard to go wrong with these panels. Dollar for dollar, they are a great value.
