Rear Click Wheel increased friction?
« on: May 15, 2013, 11:59:34 AM »
Hi there,

I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced increased friction on their click wheel (not the top mounted one by the shutter button, but the rear facing one). I have a 7D that is about 2 years old and lately I've been noticing that it seems harder to turn with one finger. Is there an easy way to look at it? Can a local camera shop fix/remedy that, or is that a send-to-Canon kind of thing?

I do sports photography for bicycle racing, and can't really think of any specifically dusty/dirty environments I have been to recently...
