Flash for 5D2 and 1D3

What recommendations do the forum members have for someone with a 5D2 and 1D3 for everyday carry-along flash?  580EX 600EX or 3rd party?
1D4. 5D3, 7D2 with 70-200 IS f/2.8L, 24-70 f/2.8L, 16-35mm II f/2.8, 50mm f/1.2, 85mm II f/1.2, 24mm TS-E, 17-55mm f/2.8 EF-S

430EX II, unless you absolutely need AF assist lamp coverage for the outermost AF points of the 1DIII when using an ultrawide lens.

430EXII or 580exII if you need more bounce capability.

Really happy with my 580 II so I'd reommend it without hesitation :)

The case for the 600EX-RT is having the RF link to other flashes like it if you think you will need that later.
