Could this mean they are coming out with a new version of the EOS M?
And maybe within a couple weeks.
Worth noting that the Canon USA Online Store lists it as Not Available.
Edit: that probably means nothing - I just noticed that the EF-M lenses are also listed as N/A, and even if an EOS M II comes out tomorrow, the lenses aren't going to be updated.
As for a new version being announced in a couple of weeks...buy it at this amazing price and don't open it. B&H has a 30-day return period...
Even after that, the price
will go back up...it's over $400 everywhere else right now. I'd bet it could be sold lightly used for the $300 it costs today, meaning no net loss.
As for me, I just ordered one. I'm certain we'll see an EOS M II at some point (possibly at some point soon), using the sensor in the 70D. But for me, the EOS M isn't going to be an everyday camera, or even an occasional use camera. It's going to be a backup camera, pure and simple. For that purpose, this deal is too good to pass up...
