So I have 4 of these, im stuck with I only need/ want 2. I just got my EOS M in the mail and ended up buying these cards also.
are they worth the money i see them posted for. i ended up paying around 400 for them. I would really like to sell 2 or all of them to get some or most of my money back. and get somethings smaller and cheaper.
and can anyone give me any insight on their performance
some one make me feel good about this purchase
$100 each for genuine cards seems OK. I'd just keep them and use them. I don't understand if you bought 4 of them for $100 each from a reputable dealer, but I'm assuming that is what you paid. .
I think the133X cards are no longer made, and just old stock is being offered. The current $175 asking price you referred to is extremely high, they are not sold by Amazon, just by third parties and are merely for suckers, since you can buy a 400X one for less. $100 each is a very good price for them, its about a realistic used price. The problem with selling them used is that buyers know that there are a ton of counterfeit cards being sold on ebay and craigslist and they are junk. That pushed used prices way down.
If you want new cards, I'd get UHS-1 cards, all new bodies will make use of them, and you will double the read / write speed.
The current Lexar Pro SDXC UHS-1 models start at 400X and 128 GB sells for $150http://www.amazon.com/Lexar-Professional-128GB-Memory-LSD128CTBNA400/dp/B007BZRXK2/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1373681721&sr=1-2&keywords=128+gb+sd
