I am an atheist myself. Spiritual though. I practise scotch and vodka - separately - unless it is a long island ;)

Convert to being agnostic like me.  I don't believe in fairy tales but I do believe in mans inhumanity and stupidity.
Also agnostics wind up zealots more than atheists.  They can't handle the enigmatic aura.

My theory is if God exists she is a software engineer. How else do you explain all the glitches ;)

What does your God tell you that you should do??
Walter: Were you listening to The Dude's story? Donny: I was bowling. Walter: So you have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know...

Interesting proposition, do you think Earth as we know it is a beta or sandbox version and the post apocalypse version with fw2.0.1 will be a bit better?  Is the M in Eos M for Metaphor?

Same as what I do (I'm also an atheist) - when you see signs of religion in unexpected places (and people don't know that you're atheist) scream out "oh my god, look - it's a sign from God!" and then make fun of all the people that take you seriously...

I wasn't kidding about the bird. Calibrated monitor? Oh, please. I see it in my iPhone.  It looks like the silhouette of an accipiter, an American kestrel to be specific.

Oooh, could it be? I get a chance to correct Neuro on something not at all related to cameras? ;-)

Kestrels (Falco sparverius) are falcons- the only 3 accipiters in N.A. are the Northern Goshawk, Cooper's Hawk, and Sharp-shinned hawk.

My bad - thanks!  Been a long day, starting too early.  In fact, it probably looks most like a sharp-shinned anyway. The 'wings' are a little too big for a kestrel.  ;)
Either way, put it on Post Your Bird Portraits...
