Dustin
I love your photos, their composition and lighting.
You have the 6D / EF 35/2 and the EF-M 22/2.  How do you find the two compare in terms of facilitating creativity?  How often would you just take the EF-M out?  Is the combo suitable for reasonably large prints?
I'm looking at getting at EF 35/2 IS as a walk-around lens that is smaller than my 24-105 - also when I go hiking.  But this thread has got me thinking...
If gear matters: 5DII, 7D, G11, Samyang 14/2.8, EF 24-105/4, EF 35/2.0IS, EF 50/2.5 macro, EF 85/1.8, EF 200/2.8II, EF 400/5.6, Ext 1.4x, Lifesize conv, Ext tube EF25, 430EXII, 270EX, Yongnuo 603C

Hey man - thanks a lot for the nice feedback.  I will actually do a direct comparison as a part of the review I am currently doing/writing for the 35mm f/2.

The EOS M/22mm combo produces for its size the best images that I have seen from a compact/small mirrorless.  It is a great compliment to a larger option.  I've been testing a "secret" big lens, and I'll throw that combo in a pocket in my jacket to give me a wider angle of view at times.  If you want compact - it is a great option!

The 35mm f/2 IS is a different beast.  The angle of view is the same, but the DOF is much, much thinner wide open because of the FF vs. crop factor.  I am quickly falling in love with the lens, but I don't really see it as a competitor to the 22mm because I use it in different ways.  The 22mm is a such a value that I will be holding onto it for a long time.  That combo allows options in portability (combined with stellar images quality) that is pretty unique.

Here's another shot taken with that combination - outside of the entrance to the Catacombs under San Castillo in Rome:

I had the good fortune to get front row tickets to see Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in Tampa, Florida on Sunday night.  I snuck in the M with 22 mounted and 11-22 in my pocket.  Unfortunately the security was very tight and they made a big deal about "no interchangeable lens cameras" so I wasn't able to mount the 11-22.  Other than struggling a bit with focus, the 22 did quite well.  Here are a couple of the better shots I was able to take:

Steve Winwood opened - he was quite good:

Then it was on to Tom & the boys and their no frills set:

The color is great in that series.  Very nice results!
