Model Study with Nude - 5D MKIII
« on: July 16, 2013, 04:33:57 PM »
Here's a recent model study I did with some nude work on the MK III. Shot entirely on the 28-70 2.8 Canon.

She has nice lines and I like the settings... though I personally don't find them to be overly compelling.
Upgrade  path.->means the former was sold for the latter.

I liked this topic so much, I took my 5D3 out for a little nude photoshoot with my old Sigma 50mm and here is what I shot:

I know you can't tell for sure, but I swear the horse wasn't wearing anything!

BTW, that was at F/1.4, ISO 100, 1/400.  The Sigma/5D3 combo does not give the most precise autofocus, but it is quite usable, especially in good light.

It's an effective nude, but the leather straps are rather too suggestive of control for me.
If you debate with a fool onlookers can find it VERY difficult to tell the difference.

I do prefer it when they are unshaven...
Some cameras… With Canon written on them. Oh, and some lenses… Also with Canon written on them. Oh, and a shiny camera with Fuji written on it too...

Feel free to have a wander round my flickr

Thank you for your thoughts, J. What would you recommend for future studies?
