Lens out of stock
« on: May 03, 2012, 06:49:14 PM »
I attempted to purchase the 50 1.2 and the 70-200 is ii from crutchfield but they are both out of stock! (they were in stock a couple weeks ago) ton of people must be taking advantage of the rebates. does anyone know how fast lens stock gets replenished? i assume its quicker than a new camera because canon probably has stock sitting around.

Crutchfield?!

B&H has stock on both, as do all the suppliers on Amazon. Rebates apply.

5D MkIII, 24 f/1.4LII, 50 f/1.2L, 135 f2L, 300 f/2.8L IS, 1.4xII, 2xII, 270EXII

Crutchfield gets 5% back on my bank of America card, no NY tax (where I'm located) and ~$100 gift card on the 70-200. So compared to BH I'm paying $1900 for the lens instead of $2250 from BH (this is with double rebate applied)

Crutchfield is basically a car audio store that dabbles in other audio-video stuff.  Its going to be hit and miss.  They seem to have a lot of unhappy customers and a few happy ones.
