Canon giveth and Canon taketh away:
70-200 F4 IS -- $200 increase
70-300 L -- $200 increase
85 1.2 L -- $300 increase
17-40 L -- $100 increase
50 1.2 L -- $180 increase
Really surprised by the 70-200 F4 increase. I thought it was overpriced before.
Looks like there are others as well: the fisheye zoom, 100-400 L, 135 and 200 L primes.
surprised at the 70-200 f/4 IS and especially 70-300L increases, the latter doesn't even include the tripod ring
but the prices one those EF-S zooms are good and for the nice new FF primes too
oh good grief damn the 24mm TSE II now $2200 even at B&H, it was $1999 just at the end of August! Dang I almost picked one up a tax free day locally but the night before they raised it to $2200 so I was like forget that but damn now it's bad everywhere. Just some months ago it was even to be had for $1900 even $1850, maybe even $1800 last fall so man $350-400 ($200 overnight) increase on an already pricey specialized lens, well once again won't be going for this one any time soon (maybe not before going Nikon after the 5D4 also has the same old DR....)
Dang Canon raising all the prices the night before select Canon stores went to a tax-free weekend.
And now I'm sure they will keep them up to also protect against the upcoming rebates.
