They would have to pay me to take some of the items in that "kit."  Value of $9500.00?  No way!!

It seems that the 7D is the only "real thing" in this package. Any other item on it's on - I won't pick one if not bundled.
7D; 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye; 100mm f/2.8L macro; TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II; 24-105 f/4L; EF-S 10-22mm; 70-300mm f/4-5.6L; 50mm f/1.4, 600EX-RT & ST-E3-RT; lots more stuff.

$9500 is an outrageous overprice to sucker some poor innocent.  Definitely legal, but perhaps unethical.  A company/seller who cares about their reputation would not do this.

Even if the price is inflated to discourage ordering while not in stock, is this even a bundle worth getting?  They are a bit liberal on what they describe as "lenses" for a 7D.

"A fool and his money are soon parted". That ad is rediculous and the products within aren't even labled for authenticity. "Run Forest, Run!"  Oh boy, the 75-300 is in there...crap lens

As a package, perhaps $2000.....  But I doubt it

Buying separately, camera $1100, lens $200, flash $200, rest of the kit.... Perhaps $200 if you overpaid... That's about $1700.... Wonder where the other $7800 comes from.....

What you are looking at iis Internet fraud.....  Post item at insane price.... Your friend purchases it with a stolen credit card.... You then ship it off to them and when the fraudulent card bounces, you claim to the credit card company that you were ripped off and get a refund....

You value a brand new 580exII at $200?  Have any you'd care to sell "used" for $150???

580ex, $200....  580exII, $500...

Btw, the  price on the kit is now $1264 with no flash..... That's about the expected price for a kit of low end stuff that someone is trying to clear out....
The best camera is the one in your hands

It's in Pesos.

That price seems like it's intended for the uneducated in photography.
What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.

Ah yes, the uneducated and RICH, and that would be the pensioners of this country. Old men with time and money, they want to get into photography like everyone else, and maybe win a competition or two and become famous while casually taking snaps of flowers. And to do that they need the best camera and gear, yet have no idea what's legit. So here we go, the ultimate kit with a price tag that tells you it's the best!
And as for comparable value in goods, instead of a 7D and 3 cheapo lenses, a 1DX and 3 Ls could work into that budget

Well, if an empty box is worth more than $1K, why not:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-II-21-1-MP-Box-/161084866656?ssPageName=ADME%3AX%3ARTQ%3AUS%3A1123&nma=true&si=AjZU4fkjms1tibhTjzx3MDVFz4g%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Damn.  I have over $2K sitting in the closet.  I wonder what I can get for the boxes from my "real" (broadcast) cameras? Lol

I  do that with Amazon.   let's say I'm going on vacation and I don't want to  suspend and relist I  will up the price by a factor of ten and change it when I get back.

You know there's a vacation setting for Amazon that will automatically suspend all your listings? Then you just uncheck it when you get back and all your listings are active again.

You guys really don't get it at all.

Sellers usually set their listing prices to a extremely high amount when they're current out of stock so that no one will buy the product. They will change it back down when the products listed are in stock again.

Well, the same seller has the same kit listed twice for $1.2k or so, and then for $9.5k. Somebody is not getting it, indeed.

A very good joke. The package is not worth 950 bucks.

If the seller get the money for it, then I sell my used 5D Mark II with the EF 24-70 2.8 (Version I) for 20.000 bucks.-big grin

All it takes is one sucker, and the seller hits the jackpot... but the actual value of that package is less than the eBay seller fees on the $9500 asking price.
