Went to Disney last week. Only took my 7D and the 18-35. Was a fun trip!

Great shots Phil. You're very fortunate to have access to such awesome models. The happiness is contagious. This is the only APS-C lens, other than my 15-85, that has ever tempted me.

Thanks brad-man! Yeah this is the only APS-c lens I own. My 7D was relegate to backup duty till this came out. Since the rest of my lenses are primes (besides my 70-200), when I want a zoom I now grab my 7D!

Also thanks for the compliments on the models. I'll give my wife the credit for our daughter :)

Seeing this post made me finally register an account and post something after lurking here for years. Took these shots on my brother's 7D while doing my student exchange in Japan :D

Thinking of getting this lens and a 70D for my travel set up. Also with a 70-200 f4IS.

I'm seriously considering this lens for late evening motorsport shots, I think it'll offer me the light, blur and speed I need to catch those glowing discs and exhaust flames, something I failed on with my 550D and 50mm f1.8 last year, but I have a 70D now and adding this lens may be the answer!!  I'll let you know how it works out for me :)
Loving your shots guys, the lens looks very sharp!!
70D - EF 100-400L - EF 24-105L - EF 100 f2.8 USM Macro - EF 50 f1.4 USM - EF 1.4xIII - Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6.
Next on the list - 5DIII - 400L f5.6 - 600EX-RT

Lots of nice photos in this thread.  Do any of you know (first hand or otherwise) whether this lens has suffered from the AF inconsistency problems that people complain about re some of Sigma's primes?
