No, I wound up paying a bit more, it was not from Bigvalue, but from some new seller with only a few feedbacks.
There are a lot of these for sale everywhere. I'm just sorry that I can't sell mine. Isn't it funny how, when you get something you like a lot, it's always something that would be easy to sell?...Yet you need it, you can't sell it. Haha. If only my mom's old Pentax stuff would be as easy to sell as anything Canon EF-related.
CarlTN...Thank you for your reply. I tell ya, I think I am forever on the wrong side of supply and demand. Glad you got a good deal though.
Thanks, it was a decent deal, not great...$725 including shipping...so was higher than these others. The one this seller sold just before this one, I lost out on, someone outbid me...It went for $699 or something. They had supposedly bought several 5D2 kits when they were being closed out, so they were selling the lenses.
I was told by somebody in one of these maze of threads about a month ago, to try and get one for $500. I say, more power to ya if you can get a mint copy for that!! Most of them have loads of scratches, internal dust, wear, probably no sealing left on the zoom extender...etc.
I say, get a new one for a good deal. There's too many used ones that aren't mint. Then someday if you take care of it like I plan to, you can be one of those who sells their used one for top dollar...after they get discontinued and replaced with something that costs $2000, as Canon are want to do.
