Hope you don't mind me doing this as large, but it is incredible what you can squeeze out of the 17-40L on the 6D.  The staff at the Howard Johnson in Soho, Manhattan allowed access to the roof of the hotel for me to take some shots.

I have to say that I've always found the 17-40 that we have at B P to be pretty good, as long as you avoid looking into the corners on 17 mil.
