2.0.5 firmware for Canon 7D....updates?
« on: January 10, 2014, 11:01:58 PM »
I am currently running firmware 2.0.3 on my 7D and haven't seen the need to update to the new "strange" firmware announced from Canon.

I have heard it does not work with ML but has anyone else ran into any other issues? Like A/M batteries or ???

I have done a search online and on here and it didn't pull up much.

Canon 5D2, 7Dv2.03, 50D, 40D, T1i, XTi...XT (& lenses, flahses), various powershots... You get the idea... I have a problem. :)

Wife shoots Nikon, D7000, D7100, (lenses and flashes)... we constantly tease each other that our cameras are better than each others!

Hi Richard.
Are you specifically suffering from:-

Fixes a phenomenon in which the image files cannot be transferred using the FTP protocol via USB cable after the Canon EOS 7D camera has established a wireless connection to the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E5A.

If like most of us you are not, then do what we have done, nothing just in case it fixes other things like after market batteries or who knows what else? ;D ;D

Cheers Graham.
