DPP and PSE10 jpeg problem

I've reported a problem to Canon regarding jpegs saved in PSE10 not displaying in DPP. Does anyone know of a fix or a way around this until Canon comes up with a fix? At the moment I'm having to use PSE8 to resave jpegs prior to batch processing web images in DPP.
