Jessops (UK) - Canon price increases??

Hi all,

I've been reading CR for ages, but only just joined the forums - so hello to all you fellow Canon fans!

My current camera is a 400D, which I bought back in 2006... so it's been some time now that I've been wanting to upgrade. I had my eyes set on either a 7D or 5Dmkii, but just noticed that Jessops (here in the UK) have increased the price of both those bodies! The 5Dmkii + 24-105L kit I was about to order from Jessops has just gone up by £200! Does anyone here know what's going on or are they merely increasing prices for a short period so that they can then offer us some 'xmas deals'?

5d mark II is still at an all time low price.

Body only that is.  24-105mm kit is still a good price.

body only at jessops and jacobs has risen almost £150 today calumet is still under £1550
