Stand alone version of EOS Movie Plugin?
« on: August 14, 2014, 10:05:17 AM »
Does anyone know if a stand-alone version of EOS Movie Plugin exists?
I don't have Final Cut Pro but would like to find a high quality transcoder to convert
Canon .mov to a high quality editable format.

Can the EOS Movie Plugin run on its own without needing the expensive Final Cut Pro?

Thanks!

PS: Camera is 5D mark ii

I have finally found the answer!  :)

On a PC, use FFms2 source in avisynth to decode .mov file and use Lagarith lossless codec in virtualdub to encode it for video editing.
