I like the overall look of the two b&w images, but the first one seems really pixelated to me.

Unfortunately this one is compressed version. The originals were printed on B1 (50x70cm). It's a whole callendar(13 sheets) with such photos (it was my photography diploma)

Canon T90, Vivitar Series 1 28-105mm f/2.8-3.8, Kodak MAX 400. The model refused to pose, insisted that I take the pictures while she danced, manual focus.
