Phase One IQ180. $48,000
Horseman SW-D II Pro $2,700
Gitzo Tripod ~$1,000
ARCA-SWISS C1 Cube - $1,700
Phase One 645DF $6,000
Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ballhead $500
4 x San Disk Extreme Pro 128GB Compact Flash - $4000

and the rest on lenses... its tough work to pick those out.

This idea I can subscribe to so far (though we need some glass with this).

Also throw in a computer based on the coming SR3 motherboard with two i7-3960X CPUs, 64GB DDR3, GTX580, 2 x 640GB Fusion-io: ioDrive PCI-e SSDs, LOTS of external storage and a couple of current gen Eizo monitors, with Gretag Macbeth. Printing will be done at a pro lab.

We have similar tastes, you went a lot more specific than I did though ; )  Although I have used those iKan kits and seen them malfunction a few too many times for me to trust them anymore....

Oh yea? I've actually never used an Ikan kit before.. I was more or less taking a risk there. Would you recommend sticking to litepanels then? despite the much higher price point? or is there another suggestive route? (In a realistic context, because it actually is something i'd consider getting in the near future.. my preference for LED is purely based on how very little power they need for higher output)

I would spend it on two 1d X (I have the lenses I want), a hassy H4d with 28 equiv and 50 quiv. 2 x Profoto ACut D4 plus modifiers. An assistant to carry it all and the absolute rest to go to the sickest places on earth to shoot things I only dream of now...

I'd pick up a pair of Eos 1000Ds and give some money to a company to make me adapters so I can mount all kind of lenses to them.
Then I'd pick three or four really nice and old Leica and Zeiss-type lenses.

Having all kind of supertele and L-Lenses along with the fanciest camera bodies might be exciting, but I think it would be more of a burden than a joy.

Another option would be a used EF 1200mm f 5.6 to take pictures of your neighbors (I think it's to heavy to use it for anything serious except you have somebody to carry it)

hehehe, if only.  Does this include not-yet-existing items (but announced)?  If so, my list is:

1DX, 1D4, 5D2, 7D.  Probably multiples.  I am curious to test them myself for one thing.  Also I doubt I'd want to carry the 1D bodies much.

500mm f/4L mark II
200-400 f/4 1.4x
2x III
1.4 III
100-400
70-300L
180mm L macro
70-200 f/2.8 II
70-200 f/4  (landscapes, less weight)
24-70 f/2.8
EF-S 15-85
EF-S 17-55
EF-S 10-22
Tokina 11-16 f/2.8
50mm f/1.4 (I'm more interested in compactness than an extra half-stop of speed)
ZE 21mm
for comparison... Olympus 21mm f/3.5, Nikon AI-S 20mm f/2.8
Samyang 14mm f/2.8
out of curiousity... 8-15 fisheye
voigtlander 125mm  f/2.5 APO macro (maybe two, just in case one ever breaks)
another copy of my wonderful Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro (USM)
just for fun, to compare them, because I love closeups... a Leica 100mm macro, ZE 100mm macro, sigma 150mm APO macro, Tamron 90mm macro, Kiron 105mm macro.  Various adapters as needed.

Flashes... at least 3.
More light stands, diffusers, umbrellas, reflectors
light tent

Sturdy copy stand and lighting setup to use my bellows and micro lens.  I'd look for some Nikon and Olympus bellows micros to compare against my Minolta 12.5mm micro

I doubt that I hit 100k even with all that.  If so, I'd double up a few things in case they are discontinued.

How about a Nikkor 300mm f/2.0 for $30grand, and the rest on a custom-made adapter to make it autofocus on an EOS body?
Too much gear, too little space.

I would buy a Sigma SD1 and...well, then I'd be done.

Incidentally, the Sony HFBK-SD1 SDI output board is $1337 (and some cents).

If I could only spend it on photography related things or not get it, I'd consider early retirment and back myself with a commercial / architectual photography venture, with:

$10k on courses
$10k on cameras (1Ds Mk iii and 5D)
$15k on lenses (14, 24, 85, 135, 16-35, 70-200, 17 & 24mm tilt shifts)
$10k on lighting equipment, tripods
$15k rent on very small office / studio (I find it difficult to work at home)
$10k on office fitout, signage
$10k on computer equipment, monitor and software
$5k on printer and toner and paper
$10k Advertising
$5k wages for pretty part-time assistant until I go broke six months later.

H4d-60
HC3,5/35mm
HC2,8/80mm
5d Mk II
Roland large format printer + supporting software
Gitzo support equipment
Think tank bags to carry new toys and existing ones

Round trip airfare to Germany and enough time to shoot the Rhein and make $5 Million for a print....

Then I can blow some serious money on Canon stuff :D
