Definitely the sort of situation where, if you could afford to own both cameras, then it'd probably be beneficial to do so. C300 definitely appears to have a nice dynamic range, and allow for usable footage in scenes that you may not have the time or money to light properly / extensively. On the other hand, The Scarlet I would imagine has a stronger performance for preset scenes with the appropriate lighting in mind. Nonetheless, an interesting analysis. Note the comparison of a 35mm f/1.4 on the scarlet to the 77mm f/2.5 on the c300.. i suppose some of that color noise and banding could be further reduced with a 35 f/1.4 on the c300, and shoot at a lower ISO. Very excited to see these sorts of comparisons though.
