if you have shot raw and lightroom i would suggest pulling the highlight down a tiny bit to take a little emphasis off the hair highlight it draws your eye away from her face. I would possibly tweek the contrast up a tiny bit too

sometimes its hard to define a good bokeh. but thx for all comments, i really fall in love with this lens completely

This is a fantastic lens, but to be honest I find it difficult to use well. I'm not into portraits - apart from animals, and as animals tend to have long bodies or noses or both it's difficult to utilise the very shallow depth of field - so I end up using it at f4.
Also the auto focus on 5D just cannot cope with the f2 depth of field on a moving subject. So I end up using it at f4.......
I've attached three of my pictures with the 135mm, all using manual focus, the shot at Bramham Horse Trials in England was pre focused. Oh and by the way, I think they are all at f4
it's a specialist lens and tricky. Think I'm going to get a 70-200 instead............................

One of the best things about this lens is its ability to produce stunning photos in lousy light.  I shot this during a portrait setting in truly terrible light and still ended up with an entire shoot that the clients were very pleased with.  (Canon 5D MKII)

The reason I bought the lens, was to shoot pine martens in low light, where I knew I would be close, but I have also found other uses for it. It can also be used to produce artistic near macro images with very narrow depth of field, when used with extension tubes. Not to everyone's taste, but it can be effective.

It does work very nicely as a pseudo macro on extension tubes.  That great clarity and bokeh still shine in that setting.
