Nice, that looks like a white ambient light "reflector" in her eye, rather than a strobe.

Thanks. Actually it's neither. It was shot in a barn under natural light, which was filtering in through a translucent skylight, with the ISO increased slightly. It was a difficult day for lighting generally, being one of the hottest days of the year and really harsh sunlight.

I was looking at the bottom image, where the light appears to be coming from lower down...and there is a bright object reflecting in her eye, which is near eye level, and is not a skylight.  My mistake, though.

I'm not sure where it's coming form either now you mention it. There were openings on both sides, but there was another building on the model's right (left as you look), which would have obscured light from that side. I would have thought her hair would obscure light from the other side though. I'm trying to remember if there were any windows at the back of the barn behind me.

Here's a 100% crop of one of her eyes. It looks like the opening out of frame on the right.

Not sure.  Not my dog and I took the image at an event.  If I had to guess, I'd say GWP.

This is a reject but the 100% crop shows exactly why I love this lens so much.

Just got this amazing lens.

The contrast of the dark tones in his glasses really make the image pop, but compositionally his placement is slightly off in my opinion.  I also don't care to look at this type of person in hyper closeup, but to each their own...that's just my personal preference.  This is certainly the type of image the 135 can do as well or better than any other lens...but then it can do many types of images that way...yes I'm a rabid fan of the lens!

Dustin's image is nice, I commented on it in another thread.
