the two cameras without bluetooth don't make much sense considering canon's been placing that in everything.

One new DSLR (1400D, X90) in two configurations for international market maybe?

Doesn't make much sense otherwise.

Cameras: 5DSR, A7RII, 5D III, EOS M6/M5/M3, Mavic Pro, DXO One.  Oh, and more lenses than I care to count.

5D Mark IV doesn't have bluetooth and any camera based on that body, that is 5DS Mark II (?), won't have bluetooth, too.

Canon does seem to be only putting bluetooth in entry level models and Powershots.  My SL2 has it, my 5D MK IV does not.

Great idea!

Better still, a monochrome version of the 5DSR :)

Theoretically it shouldn't have wifi neither.

Could be a high res high DR high fps medium format mirrorless, release date April 1st 2018.

I think BTLE support might be tied to DIGIC 7. The 1400D will likely have an older DIGIC given that the 1300D has an ancient DIGIC 4+.
