This Canon f.f. semi-defector to Sony a7Rii would appreciate seeing a sweet bundle of Canon EF mount lens plus MC-11 adapter ... perhaps $200 off for a pair like the adapter plus 85mm f/1.8 or the 135mm f/1.8?

But am I the only one who finds a sale of less than 10% off those two lenses to be under-whelming?

Before I buy one, I'd like to see a list of the Sigma Art lenses that play nice with the Canon autofocus system.  Why buy a large aperture prime lens if there is a good chance it won't focus consistently?
Current bodies:  5D4, 5D3, 77D, T5i, S100, S90
Lenses: 24-70 L2, 135 f/2.0 L, Tamron 85 f/1.8, 200 f/2.8 L, 50 f/1.2L, 24-105 L, 70-200 f/4 L, 35 f/2 IS, 24&40 pancakes, EF-S 18-135,

Does anyone have any experience with both the Sigma and the Canon 35mm 1.4 lenses?

How do they compare/contrast?

Thanks in advance,

cayenne

I had the Sigma 35mm Art. Great image quality and better than the Canon 35L mk . At least going by all the reviews. I never tried the Canon mk 1.

But the Sigma's AF was bad. Slow and often poor in low light. It's got the worst AF of all the FF Art lenses, which I guess isn't a huge surprise because it was the first one. The 85mm and 135mm Arts have excellent AF from everything I've read.

I sold the Sigma. Found a decent used deal on the Canon mk 2. It's just plain awesome. Colors, sharpness, bokeh, AF. Its amazing and worth the extra cost.
