Ant new rumor on a shipping date for the Canon 1 DX?

As I noted and posted on another thread, if you visit the Canon USA site and click over to the 1DX page, at the bottom is the following note:

*The EOS-1D X has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. These devices are not and may not be offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained.

Take that for what it's worth, but until the FCC gives it an approval, it's not shipping.

This is not a real thing, it's just not been updated. I will ship in late april.

Back the end of February, Canon UK (and I think Germany) posted a press release stating that the 1D X would not ship until late April:

I don't know about Canada but I kept watching and never saw a similar press release from Canon USA.  I don't know if they are that out of the loop or simply don't care to update their US customers.  I think the original date given was the end of March so it looks like a slip of a month at least.
