Seagate GoFlex Satellite

Does anyone know if I can transfer files directly from a Canon camera to a Seagate GoFlex Satellite over USB?
Just wondering if this will work before I go buy one.

Took a quick look at the user manual.  Looks like it has to be connected to a computer to transfer any files to it.

Yeah, I read the manual too, but that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't work.

I have a Canon HD Camcorder and although they recommend using their software, when I plug in the USB drive, it appears as a drive on OS-X.

Does anyone actually have one of these and a 5D MK 3 that can test this?
