HDR - Skunktrain Fort Bragg

Nice shot.  (HDR is best when you can't tell that it is HDR!)

RCARCA,

Love the pic of the Thames, makes me feel home sick. Has a Constable quality about it which would look great on a wall.

Very beautiful indeed, stunning colors. I'd put it up alright. Is that an HDR shot?

Upgraded from 5Dc.  Kind of an intimidating camera since I know nothing about video, but the noise levels, image quality, the LCD, and the framerate are sooo good!

First one with 70-200 II
Second with 16-35 II

Thanks Gary and Rat... Comments much appreciated! No, not HDR, little bit of post processing in Lightroom 4.

Cheers

Richard

PS I have to work out how to get hold of a printer that will do it justice!!!

Seriously consider getting it professionally printed and maybe in Gisclee, it really is that good.

weeks later and it still shocks me how much bad press this camera gets. i'm very familiar with canon products and this is the best i've ever used. perfect design, great images. grows on me MORE literally EVERY time i use it. I'm a firm believer that aesthetic is as important as science. Granted on a pure scientific level of the sensor and the camera it seems slightly improved but there is something more with the CPU chip IQ and other aesthetic elements to which it can sense shadow, depth, color, etc, that is really impressive. i'm not a photographer though so maybe my opinion means nothing. I shoot fashion film though and i also love its video capabilities. there are often very little difference in resolution and color in video compared to a 5D2 but I really like the 5D3 codec. I also read about that getting S___ on alot in reviews, but I love it. you can do amazing things with it in post. here is also some video on 5D3

Thanks revup :) loving this 5d mk3 so far seems a capable camera.

Yeah..same here.  I look for any opportunity to use it and as a matter of fact my worries about losing the 1.6 crop factor on my 7D have diminished.  Have not touched the 7D since early May and have gotten some stunning bird shots with the 5DM3
Thanks
