I did not notice that a leaf was blocking the flash and that the middle of my subject would not get the flash!
Anyway, like they say in India, "Luck by chance"

What I love about the picture is the contrast of the subject and the background. More specifically, where the subject is lighted by the flash, the background is dark and the other way around (except for the eye)...
What I do not like is that (and I did not know that at the time when I took the picture...) the texture of the leaf causes light to reflect from the flash and there are a whole load of reflective points I can see on the leaf. Do you know what one can do about that?
