5D mk III + 50/1,4

5D mk III + 70-200/2.8 IS II

I always love these types of candid shots.. Its like deja vu.. I was down at our local machine shop just the other day and there was a female apprentice in short-shorts finishing up the support brace for my trailer..

OMG this is amazing - what lens? It's so crisp at f11!

Well to further reply i wonder how and where you had the privaledge to shoot horses running seemingly wild like that, its amazing! I'd prob have to blow that one up and put it on the wall if i were u. Secondly, would you tell me about that green moss stuff? Its really interesting and i don't know if it was luck or planned but the red dress, green moss and grey/blue skies are a nice earthy display. Really neat.

Thanx
About the horses.
Me and a friend were shooting some refections in a bay on the east side of Iceland.
When we were driving away I saw these horses approaching fast in the rear view mirror so we jumped out and this was one of the shots.
The green moss is in a place called Eldhraun (http://www.nat.is/travelguideeng/plofin_eldhraun_lava_field.htm)
The shot was not planned. The moss and sky was there and my wife was in a red rain coat and I just told her to stand there :)

Doesn't anyone teach those poor girls to tie up or cut off their hair before working machinery with moving parts? 'Cause reality can be painful and disfiguring and the such. The Concentration pic is passable in this respect, but I gotta deduct points for the lack of realism of the Hattie shot ;)
Fed up with brandism.

96Brigadier, the reflection of the mountain in the water has blown highlights.

Just kidding! This image, this location, at this time...drink in the serenity! Nice capture 96Brigadier!

I was using both a 16-35 F2.8 Version 1 and a 24-70 F2.8 that day.  I couldn't remember which this image was taken with to be honest so I checked the properties, focal length was 23mm so it had to have been the 16-35 lens I used for that image.

Thanks! :)  I am really happy with this photo given I'm an amateur.

I used a 3-stop Lee hard edge graduated ND filter over the mountains to even out the exposure (as much as I could).  I only got into graduated ND filters 6 weeks ago, I definitely like what I can do with them.  In hind sight maybe I should have also stacked a soft edge filter over the reflection.  I haven't done that before so not entirely sure how that would have turned out.

The funny thing is there is a jet ski in the shot that has the same color scheme as your image! lol amazing.
Edit, upon closer viewing i see that those are just multiple colored canoes.
