Sunset at Newport Coast. Shot with the 24-105L. Bear with me - I just learned the art of split toning :)
Please critique.

RPT, #1 is superb!  Very, very nice!  8)
Thanks. Like someone said on another thread, lovely skies here in the LA area - but then again it is sunny CA...

Hi, yes I thought of you now with the haze. Shouldn't it be a few unique photo opportunities now with it?

Thanks. Yes, I had some unique street shots with the haze but then I wasn't brave enough to venture too long in the open with the Pollutant Standards Index reading at an all time high of 401 which is considered as hazardous.  :(

Awesome!

(Snip!)

Well, this building is in PA steel country...but it is a coal-sifting plant. I am so fascinated with the place I spend whole weekends there!
Hmm... Allentown? I was in Bethlehem in 99 - twice... Stayed at the Hampton inn across 22. Liked the fall stay better than the Feb stay...

I drive thru Allentown and Bethlehem on the way to coal country...Frackville and Wilkes-Barre areas are a treasure- trove for shooting. I see photos everywhere I look.

Although it is very expensive, the 5D Mark III is an incredible camera!
Used a 17mm TSE here....

Lovely shots!

+1 Beautiful light.
Thanks guys. Well, that is what happens when you have a professional star, professional weather, a professional camera and a dope who can depress the shutter - ok - and frame the picture ;)

I would have missed the last one - I was walking off back into the house after taking the sunset pictures when I glanced back and noticed this shot...

As you can imagine, the images are edited with split toning done heavily! This is the first time I am doing it. Any advice/critique is very welcome. I cant seem to get the blue sky and orange hues come together. I need to experiment some more. Any tips?
