Not quite as dramatic as Climber´s excellent shot, but kind of same theme. Shot on our way down from the summit (I hate heights!!).

That is some massive rock to walk on. Seems to me a great experience but also one to pay attention where you walk.
I like the photo!

Thanks Candyman. The ridge on top is very sharp and narrow. I get dizzy just thinking about it.

Here is a piece of driftwood I found on the shores of Vega. Did not know mermaids turned to wood when they went on dry land ...  ???

I like them both. The wood on the last one really seems like half-woman, half-fish creature.

.....Here is a moody one....

infared,
I'm quite enjoying your silk mill still lifes.
This one in particular brought to mind a similar composition of a very different subject that I'm long overdue pursuing, capturing, acquiring and that's the head stone marking Mom and Dad in a U.S. Military Cemetery. I doubt I'll have lighting like yours.

Thanks for the inspiration. Consider this a positive commentary on the unpredictability of human emotional responses to our photographic art work.

Well...Tolusina...thanks...and I was just lucky enough to have a window for light and good post production software!  :P
..also the low DOF that the Canon 85mm f/1.2L offers....
You could get good light like this very early for your image or..on a translucent cloud day may work for ya...it always a matter of serendipity and I have found obsession and perseverance helps  :(....but if I keep in mind I am doing this to have fun...it all works out!!!!

Here is another one from the Silk Mill....
