Zeiss 15mm 2,8/15 or Canon EF14mm f2.8 II

I really enjoy taking super wide photo's and looking to upgrade from my canon 10-22.  I've shot with lense and really loved what it produced with my 7D.  But I want to do more, so I'm waiting for my 5D mk III and looking to Ugrade my wide angle lense.  I am considering to new zeiss but the extra expense is streching me.  I wanted some opinions from canon community, should I purchase Zeiss 15mm 2,8/15 or Canon EF14mm f2.8 II?  No manual vs. auto focus.

Man when I heard that 15mm was getting announced I got excited, but $3k for a wide angle is just too much damn money, I might as well buy some CP.2's if I'm gonna start spending that much.

The 14mm II is an awesome lens, I love mine.  Insanely sharp for a wide angle, excellent color rendition, just a great all around ultra-wide lens.  But at the same time I'm sure the Zeiss is absolutely wicked, razor sharp, and built like a brick.  It does take 95mm filters, which I'm sure are very expensive, but the 14mm doesn't take filters at all, so I guess the 95mm filters are actually a plus.    But the Zeiss is a giant beast, absolutely huge, while the 14mm is relatively compact.

That's a tough one man, I honestly think it's going to come down to price and whether or not it's worth having autofocus.
5DIII/5DII/Bunch of L's and ZE's, currently rearranging.

According to some preliminary reviews, the Ziess is slightly sharper and has less CA along the edges.  It costs almost 50% more than Canon 14mm II and has no AF.  The Ziess has an integrated hood, which makes using filters (i.e. grads) difficult.

The 16-35L II is like the FF version of the 10-22 on your 7D and should perform similarly to slightly better with a constant f/2.8.  Both can take filters in the front.  The 14II is a wider prime that has less distortion than the 16-35L II that is equivalent to 9mm on the 7D.  If you're happy with the 10-22 on the 7D, I suggest looking at the 16-35L II first.  The Canon 14mm and Ziess 15mm primes are specialty lenses.
