I actually went with........

Neither :)

I ordered her a new Olympus OMD EM-5
With a Panasonic 14mm (effective 28mm) and the Panasonic Leica 25mm F/1.4 (effective 50mm).

This is a better fit for her size wise (she is small) and the glass is supposedly pretty good.

I'll let you how it shapes up....

Looks pretty good, but its missing that X quality for me. Can't quite put my finger on it, but I'll stick to canon. :)

I picked up a GF2 as the camera for my wife (with the 20mm f/1.7). Micro 4/3 has a huge advantage over the other small camera systems in the glass available. I'm surprised that m43 hasn't done better compared to other mirrorless systems, I suspect it's because most of the market for these products don't understand the advantages of having a good system of lenses available.

I've heard good things about both the body and the glass you picked up, excellent choice (make sure you get filters for those lenses!)
