Lens info rubbing off. Any way to get it replaced?

So I've had my Canon L lenses for a while and some of them have the lens info rubbing off. Is there anyway to get it replaced to look like new again?

If you provide a image, someone might be able to help.  The info is done differently on different lenses.  Some have it on a snap out ring on the front surface of the lens, for example.  This piece can be replaced, assuming its a current production lens. 
 
Here is a example of a easily replacable front ring.
