Golly gee, can someone tell me what the DR is in this image?  anyone?  No?  ok... awesome image.  This is what we should be worried about, not some number somewhere on some website.   :)
Canon 5d III, Canon 24-105L, Canon 17-40L, Canon 70-200 F4L, Canon 100L 2.8, 430EX 2's and a lot of bumps along the road to get to where I am.

Before I got my 5D I was worried about specs and that the camera wasn't going to be what I expected. But as soon as I got i forgot about everything and I've just been enjoying shooting and I'm really happy with my purchase. Nikon as better DR? I don't think it makes much of a difference after a little PP

I also have this shot in which I combined two different exposures in photoshop but I prefer the original that was edited from a single raw in Lightroom

Superb shot! I can only imagine how much better it would have been with a D800 ;D Just in case you're not familiar with my peculiar sense of e-humor, that was a facetious remark :)

Beautiful shot. Where is this? Near 17th Street Causeway? I'm in West Broward :-)

Not much wrong with this picture! I'm beginning to feel happier about my purchase already - now I just need to get out shooting with it!  ;D

Why wouldn't you be happy with your purchase? what is this camera lacking that you have a need for? I'm really happy with it. The camera feels a lot more natural in use  and the autofocus its just a breeze compared to the one in the mark II, this was the best improvement. the only thing I find that this camera is lacking is that there is not much of an improvement in IQ at low ISO compared to the mark II, But that doesn't mean the IQ aint nothing but gorgeous. I still get amazed at the amount on detail on photos and  the high ISO performance was greatly improved, including RAW files. is not perfect but this camera is exactly what was meant to be, an all-around full frame camera... a happy medium between IQ and Speed
