It's working quite fine on my camera! It does seem to focus on the cheeks instead of the eyes sometimes, but i'm prop just not quite used to the new system yet.

And PS. F2 is my favorite F-stop. You know you're a nerd when you have a favorite f-stop.

It's working quite fine on my camera! It does seem to focus on the cheeks instead of the eyes sometimes, but i'm prop just not quite used to the new system yet.

I think that in general this camera wants to focus on whatever is closest. I was using a single AF point for mine, but not the spot point and even the single point is large enough to encompass some cheeks or forehead when placing it over her eye. 2 of the 6 I took were focused on forehead rather than eye. Of course I was shooting hand held and moving even a 1/4" at 85mm f/2 would be enough to notice.

Thanks! I spot metered. I rarely use flash except in super dark receptions. I may have enhanced the eyes just a little bit in post.
