DXO Pulls 60D Info

I was getting worried because the 60D info was still on the DXO site last night.

However, it’s gone now.

I still receive emails that there will be “no 60D”, it’s safe to say this confirms those emails incorrect and we should see 60D’s starting to ship in late September or into October.

Don't you have CR2s on record as saying the 60D is coming soon?  Are they less reliable than this DxO leak?

Seems pretty clear that a "60D-like" camera is eminent just by looking at the recent drop (although small) in the 7D price. This could coax a few reluctant would-be 7D buyers to take the plunge - folks that really want 7D, but with cost too high would "settle for" 60D with less capability.  Should be coming along soon, with firmer CR rumor rating.

Yes, you're right.

However, everyone puts different degrees of importance on different rumor types. Some people need to see web leaks to believe anything. I try to provide those whenever I can.

With what price do you think the 60D will start? In Europe the 7D is about 1.240 EUR, the 550D has dropped to about 680 EUR, so I guess the window for the 60D would be about 800-1000 EUR?!
