60d firmware
« on: February 03, 2011, 02:45:31 PM »
My 60d has fireware 1.0.5 installed, so what is it missing? im about to upgrade, and the available upgrade seems to be 1.0.8, so my question is, apart from the lens/flash phenomenom that fixes what else in 1.0.6, 1.0.7 was added, and secondly do i need to install these also, or are they all added in the latest 1.0.8 update?

perhaps a silly question but nice to be sure :)

Canon firmware updates are cumulative, so installing 1.0.8 will include all of the incremental changes from what you're currently running.
EOS 1D X, EOS M, and lots of lenses

When you install a new firmware version, it totally replaces the old firmware with the new.  There is no need to worry about the intermediate updates, you get the latest version.
