Those look crunchy! 160th shutter is high speed? I was expecting 1/2000th or something. It turned out awesome looking! Your produce must be organic 
the shutter speed doesn't matter, I didn't freeze the motion with the shutter speed. I froze motion with the speed lights. thanks though!

I have never shot anything like this so i was curious and in a way asking about the technique. If you take the time to elaborate on how you set up this shot it would be fun to learn.
It was a set up with two speed lights and pocket wizards. One was flashing from the top left corner and the other one was flashing bottom right corner, I also had a white reflector under the tank to try and bounce some light up and illuminate the bottom of the peppers. both speed lights were set to 1/4 of the power in manual mode and i used a small diffuser for the flash on the bottom.
to focus i just held the peppers where i thought they were going to land, focused, and then switched it to manual focus so that the camera doesn't hunt for focus every time i drop the peppers. I used F/14 to give me some leeway since the peppers don't always land in the same spot. I used ISO of 400 so that I don't have to use the higher power setting on the flash because they don't stop motion as well when they are set at a higher power settings.
