Comment SEO Spam
« on: April 26, 2012, 11:52:22 AM »
We are starting to see more and more of what is called comment spam, where a live person registers and posts photography related comments and somewhere in the post has a link to a non related business website.

These are a little harder to detect, we read as many posts as possible, but can't read them all.

Note, linking to a photography product or legitimate review is usually acceptable, but linking to a site that sells purses, perfume, or tires just to get a higher google page ranking is inappropriate, and posters will likely be banned.

Pleas report this type of spam and it will be removed.

But note: collect all of the offending threads for one report.  You aren't allowed to send more than one :(
