5D mark iii & 100L - Heineken product shot
xROELOFx:
like dawgfanjeff said, the bottle is not entirely vertical. and perhaps you can lower the output of the flash a little bit, so the top logo is still readable.
for the rest, i like the picture, with the ice and stuff. makes me thirsty. good job!
cheers from holland ;)

You asked for it - so, here's my take . . .
1. why is the bottle still capped? And what is that 3 little beads at the very top?
2. The ice at the bottom of the bottle? What is that? I'm at a loss of how to describe the over-all effect. Put it on a bucket! If you have those ice all-around then shot the product insidethe cooler at least.
Here's what I would suggest:
Open the bottle, tilt it a bit like it's leaning on the glass, take a tight shot of the upper 1/3 of the product.
Close down your aperture to get the bubbles and the neck-logo in focus.
Tone-down your lighting so it does wash-out the logo.
Take a shot of the mouth of the glass and you'll have a winning presentation.

And never ever serve/advertise a beer with a piece of lime or lemon outside the US unless it's a Corona...

The ice is a bit cheesy. . . Instead, try crushing some ice into a thick powder consistency and dip the bottle in it. . . get some on your hands and press it against the bottle. . . then create a drip and puddle scene at the base of the bottle (don't do this in warm room ;) ). And for pete's sake take off that little bit of ice on the bottle cap.
This is just for starters. . . ;)
