5D mark iii & 100L - Heineken product shot
K-amps:
The ice and some white elements seem over exposed... perhaps a bit of PP/ Burning/ Black level increase might get some definition in? Otherwise a nice shot.

I feel a post production party coming on...............

The ice is a bit cheesy. . . Instead, try crushing some ice into a thick powder consistency and dip the bottle in it. . . get some on your hands and press it against the bottle. . . then create a drip and puddle scene at the base of the bottle (don't do this in warm room ;) ). And for pete's sake take off that little bit of ice on the bottle cap.
This is just for starters. . . ;)

I am going to re do the shot today, do you like the red color background or should i try other colors? i was thinking of trying the amber gel

I like the red. I think it compliments the beer color, but thats just my humble opinion.
expatinasia:
I agree with most things that were said especially opening the bottle, the ice, and (oh dear) the lime.
One other very small thing you may wish to consider is a bottle of Heineken is normally 330ml from memory (I know that they always seem to empty far too quickly when I drink them) and that glass looks like a pint glass which would make it 500ml.
Heineken, probably the best... nah it's not, but is a great try. ;-)
