It seems the glitch has been corrected by Adorama and it no longer calculates the same way for me. 

Save more than you thought?

I’ve been told and shown that Adorama is actually tripling rebates when you buy a qualifying camera body with a qualifying lens.

For Example (When Bought Together)

• Canon EOS 5D Mark III $3499


• Canon EF 85 f/1.2L II $1749

Total: $5248

Stay with me know, here are the discounts that have been applied to the above order.

The Canon EF 85 f/1.2L II regular price is $2199, when you search it on the site it is listed at $150 off at $2049. When you bundle it with the 5D Mark III Adorama takes another $300 off. So the savings on the Canon EF 85 f/1.2L II is $450 when the rebate program is actually for $300 off of $2199.

Not working.  Earlier in the day I placed a 5D3 and a 24mm/f1.4 in my cart and the double/triple discount applied.  I checked the cart a few minutes ago and it was empty!   When I tried again, the only items available to "bundle" with the 5D3 were a copy of Lightroom 4 and an Eye-Fi card.

Tried the 5d3 with a 16-35 and it worked few hours ago...
Now it's not!!! Instead, its showing 120$ rebate instead of 110$...

Works great for me yesterday. Ordered 5DmkIII and 16-35 F/2.8L for $5,668.  Checked the site again and now they change the double-down rebates from $220 to $120.

Looks like that was a mistake yesterday.  Hope they will honor my order.

Does anybody know what is going on with the Adorama Canon triple rebate bundle?  It appears that when you bundle the camera with a lens, you're now only getting 1.5X rebate on the lens as opposed to double 2X.  An example is the 5D mk3 coupled with the 70-200 f/2.8 L IS ll.  The lens retails for $2499 - 200 (lens only) another 200 for coupling it with the 5D mk3, should equal 2099 (if it's a double rebate).  But they are charging 2199 now (only 1.5X rebate) while B&H is selling the same lens for 2099 (2X double the rebate).  That's $100 less than Adorama.

Right now..it doesn't appear that they are doubling the rebate now if buying a camera and lens....
